I Found a Lost Pet, What  Now?

If you found a lost pet, we can scan it for a microchip and post a courtesy post online to try and locate the owner.

 

How do I Sign-up For Low-cost Spay/Neuter?

HTH focuses on residents of Berrien County for low-cost spay and neuter trips. See our upcoming trips on Facebook under Events @HTHHS.org

You can find the sign-up form under the "Forms" tab of this website and email it to ashleyskinner@hthhs.org

You can also sign up in person at D&G Rental Properties, 314 East Marion Avenue Nashville GA, 31639. Monday-Friday 9am-12noon and 1pm-5pm.

The cost is only $10 for rabies. Cats ears will be tipped ($25 extra for no tipping). Cats must be in a hard carrier. Males cats=$35, Female cats=$45. Includes rabies shot. Dogs are on a case-by-case basis.

 

How do I sign-up for Low-cost Microchipping?

Email us at ashleyskinner@hthhs.org to schedule a microchipping only appointment. If signing up for spay/neuter be sure to ask for a microchip as well at that time. Microchipping is only $25 through HTH.

 

What are your adoption fees?

Cats and kittens are $85, Dogs are $150, puppies $200. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, first core vaccines up to date as of the time of adoption, microchip, deworming, and flea prevention.

 

What is the adoption procedure?

 

Step 1:

Complete the Adoption Questionaire and email it to ashleyskinner@hthhs.org

Step 2:

Our adoption coordinator will contact you over the phone for a brief interview and to schedule a home visit or obtain a vet reference.

Step 3:

Once approved for adoption, you will fill out the Adoption Contract and pay the adoption fee in cash or via PayPal.

Step 4:

Upon completion of steps 1-3, your adoption may be finalized and you can pick up your new family member!

 

What if the adoption does not work out?

If at any time you cannot keep your adopted pet, HTH requires the pet to be returned to us. This ensures the safety of the pet. Adoption fees are considered donations to HTH and are nonrefundable.
